The importance of doing it on time matters more.

EBBÓ-ADIMÚ
A person's destiny is already irrevocably dictated; their ORÍ must evade or overcome all existing obstacles, increasing or decreasing the degrees of consequences that accompany them. They can vary the time frames of successes or failures, and the latter would be mitigated if the person has a good ORÍ, through the fulfillment that comes from understanding, insight, and wisdom. On the contrary, they will live a life of unhappiness and frustration.

In order to achieve a good ORÍ (successful completion of our destiny), we must make the necessary sacrifices at the appropriate time according to their free will or seek assistance through sacrifices to the called ORISAS and their ANCESTORS, as well as obeying the TABOOS or prohibitions they determine. The sacrifices to be made will depend on the complexity of the designated destiny. Through sacrifices to the ORISAS and ANCESTORS, we overcome obstacles and obtain greater benefits, with more durability and even in a shorter time frame.

Religious sacrifices in the Yoruba language are called EBBÓ. There are various types of EBBÓ, and their composition is determined through the Oracular guidance of Orisa or Ifá. Through EBBÓ, we can alter the time states of destiny.

To differentiate ritual sacrifices, they are defined in the Yoruba term as EBBÓ and ADIMÚ.
EBBÓ includes sacrifices with animals and other paraphernalia, while ADIMÚ refers to additional offerings beyond the former, which can also be independent, meaning simple offerings.
